Alamo Area Whippet Club is an organized group of Whippet owners and enthusiasts seeking to protect and advance the interests
of the breed and encourage sportsmanlike competition at formalized events involving Whippets.  We urge our members and breeders
to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Whippets
shall be judged and we encourage interest in the humane welfare of all animals.
